About Mosta
A substantial central town whose Rotunda is a familiar landmark. Compare individual neighbourhoods and journey patterns when considering it as a home base.
Mosta's central position and large Rotunda make it a familiar stopping point, but the town deserves more than a photograph taken between bus journeys. The local council describes a settlement on a plain surrounded by agricultural land. Today the interesting contrast is between the monumental church, the busy centre and the ordinary streets leading away from it. A town walk should make room for those different scales rather than trying to turn every corner into a named attraction.
